Exchange
A cryptocurrency exchange is a company offering users the ability to trade digital assets against each other. Some exchanges also allow users to buy digital assets with national currencies, although specific licenses are required to do this.
In general, cryptocurrency exchanges have similar interfaces to traditional foreign currency or stock trading platforms and offer the same sort of functionality.
At present, 99% of cryptocurrency trading takes place on centralized exchanges, which are custodial in nature. This presents problems concerning both security and the trustworthiness of these exchanges. Since the exchange controls users’ assets, it represents a clear target for hackers.
By contrast, Nash is a non-custodial, decentralized exchange. Our aim is to offer the same level of functionality and performance as a centralized exchange but with none of the associated problems. Nash never controls users’ assets.
Thanks to our network of currency partners, Nash also allows users to purchase digital assets, which they can store immediately in their own wallets.
